An MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) provides a summary of an individual’s driving history based on city, county, and state court records.
To ensure platform safety and maintain the standards required by our catering partners, DeliverThat utilizes Checkr—the industry leader in background and MVR processing for independent contractors and gig workers. Your information is only shared with authorized parties and is never sold to outside sources.
DeliverThat reviews up to 5 years of driving history. Reports are reviewed promptly, and you will be notified of your eligibility status once the report is processed.
Basic Eligibility Guidelines for MVR Approval
To be eligible for delivery opportunities on the platform, contractors must meet the following criteria:
Age/Experience: Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid U.S. state-issued driver’s license for a minimum of 2 years.
License Status: Your driver’s license cannot have privilege restrictions or qualifications (e.g., instructional permits or restricted licenses).
Three-Year Review Window
Within the last 3 years, eligibility requires having no more than a total of two of any combination of the following:
Speeding citations
Failure to yield, running a stop sign, or running a red light
Distracted/inattentive driving (including mobile device use)
Accidents: No more than one at-fault accident. Multiple accidents (regardless of fault) will be reviewed for platform safety.
Citations for driving with a revoked or suspended license.
Five-Year Review Window
Within the previous 5 years, any of the following citations will result in immediate ineligibility to partner with DeliverThat:
DUI (Driving Under the Influence) or OVI (Operating a Vehicle Impaired)
Open container or possession of a controlled substance while operating a vehicle
Refusal to submit to a breath, urine, or blood test
Reckless Operation or Speeding 25mph+ over the limit
Hit & Run / Leaving the scene of an accident
Vehicular manslaughter, homicide, or assault
Eluding/evading law enforcement
Commission of a felony involving a motor vehicle
Drag racing
